Others are light and easy to carry and set up, for those times and situations where ease of use are the watchwords, especially for inexperienced campers. For those situations, the Hi Gear Neutron 2 Lightweight Festival Tent is the best and most economical for the money.

If you are looking for a tent that is light, easy to set up, durable and roomy, look no further than the Hi Gear Neutron 2 Lightweight Festival Tent. It’s the tent specially made for situations such as music festivals where the tent isn’t the point of the trip, but being comfortable is.

The Hi Gear Neutron 2 Lightweight Festival Tent is big enough for two people to sleep comfortably, but includes an area for storage, which maximizes living space. And not only is it roomy inside, but the design and incorporated venting maximizes air circulation, regardless of outside conditions.

Make your festival experience memorable for the music, not the inclement weather with a Hi Gear Ion 2 Festival Tent. It’s roomy enough for two but compact enough that it can be carried to the site in its handy stuff bag. There are a lot of tents on the market, but you will have to decide which is the right one for your personal needs, making sure that it’s easy to use for your experience level.

The Hi Gear Ion 2 Festival Tent is made of PU coated polyester for extra durability and long life. And the construction, which includes practical styling, a double skin, as well as good ventilation ports for greater breathability, will make this tent the one to use regardless of the temperature outside. There’s even a storage area for gear that allows for more living room. This allows your living area to be kept cleaner too. A flysheet helps cut down drafts and ensures privacy for occupants.

Easy to use poles allow you to set-up your tent in a snap to make you ready for a festival or a weekend in your own comfortable getaway. Guy lines are attached making them easy to use, and they’re colorful too, which makes it easier to find your tent in a crowd, even in limited light. Experienced campers or novices will find this a tent that’s easy to use.

Assembled dimensions are 115 cm (height) x 200 cm (length) x 220 cm (weight). And it weighs only 2,800 grams, so it’s easy to pack to a site. Its packed size is 44 x 20 x 10 cm, so it’s easy to carry, either on your back or a bike.

The Hi-Gear Ion 2 Festival Tent is a great value for the money and is sure to make your outing more comfortable, regardless of the weather.

It is extremely lightweight, weighing only 2.75 Kg (6 lbs). You do need to set up the inside liner first which can be quite difficult in a rainstorm. One suggestion is to wait out the storm if it is raining. Other than that it is easy to setup. You can hold it in one hand and push the poles through.

It is built quite well for a tent of its price and is able to withstand the weather once it is put up. It has a large opening which is also quite convenient. It is really a reasonably priced tent and is very useful to take when hiking, biking, or just out for a small tour. I would suggest you look into this tent if you are unhappy with what you are currently using or just need to get a tent.

The Benicassim 2010 Music Festival is already around the corner and you are probably planning on various forms of transportation to get to the venue in Spain from the United Kingdom.

The fastest but not an expensive way to get to Barcelona is by plane for around 60 pounds, depending on the date you order it. Tickets can be purchased through various online travel agents. Agents that offer discount tickets from the UK to either Valencia or Barcelona include Expedia.com, Kayak.com, and Travelocity.com. Sometimes, a budget plane ticket to Spain can be cheaper than a train ride to attend a UK music festival. Airlines such as Ryan Air, Easy Jet, and British Airways.

After arriving at the Valencia or Barcelona airport, you may rent a car for easy transportation to the festival venue. Another option to get there is by train. The train ride will only take an hour and will deliver you straight to the venue site. If you don’t like these two options, you still have another alternative: the festival bus. The organizer of Beniccasim arranges buses to pick up participants at the Valencia airport every year.

If you would like to turn this travel opportunity into a road trip, you may consider taking the train from the UK to Spain. You can reserve your train ticket online at Rail Europe. A round-trip ticket will cost about 60 pounds again, comparable to the price of a plane ticket. A tip is to purchase the InterRail Global Pass, which will allow you to travel anywhere in Europe within 22 days or a month at a much reduced price. You may also consider purchasing the country pass for Spain or if you are qualified, get a youth pass to help defray your cost.

Finally, you can drive from the UK to the festival destination. Depending on your driving speed and the road condition, it can take more than a day. Plan on spending extra as you may need to spend a night in a motel before continuing your drive to Benicassim. The benefit of this option is that you can admire the landscape and cities you pass by before you enjoy some fresh music.

When you get to Benicassim, you could book into a hotel instead of camping, somewhere like Late Rooms offer some great late deals on Hotels.

When gearing up for Spain’s annual Benicassim festival one must remember to travel smart. Below are the top five recommended essentials for camping at Benicassim.

Tent – Bringing a sturdy tent is a must. You want to be sure you are protected from insects and weather while sleeping. Having some ventilation to keep air circulating and avoid extreme discomfort from heat will also prove helpful. If you are not an experienced camper, try buying a pop-up tent which takes a minute or two to put up.

You can also try this 2 Man Tent Festival Pack from Tiso which is very cheap and easy to use.

Your tent will be your shelter while you’re camping so a high quality tent with room is worth the extra cost. You can purchase tents with multiple rooms for more groups and obtain a high quality tent for several people to help with cost. Doing so will provide the benefits you need while making sure everyone still has some extra money to play around with during the festival.

Clothes – You will want to put a great deal of thought into the clothes and shoes you bring. A major point to consider is the severe heat and the long walking distances you will be subject to. Changing multiple times a day is also an inevitability with the heat and the amount of activity to engage in. Bringing summer appropriate clothes is a must for general activities but you will also want to pack swimwear for the hotter parts of the day and taking a dip without getting your regular clothes wet. Flip flops are a good idea for camping and beach going but a sturdy pair of sneakers is recommended for longer walks and more rough outdoor areas.

A good place to try is www.millets.co.uk

Sunscreen – A plentiful amount of high SPF sunscreen will serve as your best friend during the festival. The sunshine and beauty are amazing but the heat renders some protection for your skin absolutely necessary. Make sure you apply multiple times throughout the day to ensure your protection from sun poisoning or harmful UV rays. You can also find types of sunscreen that will deter bugs which can be even more useful while camping in hot weather.

Food – Food and water are essential because concession prices can be unexpectedly high and proper nutrition and hydration are immensely important in any extreme weather condition. Items like granola bars or sources of protein such as peanuts can be great because they don’t suffer from heat and don’t require preparation. Anything perishable is usually not the best idea although bringing ingredients for a prepared meal to grill out on the first day can be done easily. Large amounts of water are completely necessary for hydration. You want to be sure to bring more than you think is needed because the heat conditions can prove more detrimental than anyone can predict. High quality filtered water will give you the best results.

Toilet Paper – Last but definitely not least you will want to stock up on toilet paper. Having large amounts of toilet paper is useful for any unexpected bathroom situations as well as cleaning your camping area and any potential wounds. First aid materials can be obtained from a tent inside the festival but toilet paper cannot. You will definitely want to bring a lot and buy high quality because rougher tissue can cause chafing problems.

When you’re off to a music festival, you want to bring the right tent for the occasion. It’s not back country camping, so you probably don’t need the most rugged tent made, but you want something lightweight, inexpensive, easy to carry, and easy to put up.

First, decide how many people your tent should hold. It may just be you, two people, or your whole family. Assuming you will have between two and four people, these are some of the best tents for music festivals.

1. Suisse Sport makes a three person sleeper. The fiberglass poles make it lightweight. It comes with a rain fly, but in nice weather, it has an all mesh ceiling to allow for a cool breeze. All of the screens allow you to see out, but others can’t see in, giving you complete privacy while letting in the air.

2. The Coleman SunDome 7×7 provides a fairly high roof that lets shorter people stand up. Its two-pole set-up makes it easy even for those who don’t camp often, and it has a five year warranty. It has adjustable ventilation for a variety of weather conditions. It provides a privacy vent window, and it even comes with an electrical access port so you can plug in your gear. if you’re camping near an electrical source.

3. The Jeep Hiker is a 7×5 tent that sleeps three people, providing 38 square feet of sleeping floor. The floors are sonic sealed, and the rain fly extends to create a front porch. Two large windows allow for excellent cross-ventilation in warmer weather, and it has doors on two sides for easy access.

4. The Wendzel Windsong is an 8×8 pentadome with a rain fly. The sealed floors are welded, rather than stitched, to create fewer tiny holes for potential water leakage. This tent sleeps 3. The threads, zipper, and welding are all treated for maximum water resistance.

5. The Swiss Gear Kandersteg is a 9×9, four person tent that includes a loft organizer. This keeps your gear out of your way, especially any damp items that you don’t want touching your other stuff. It sleeps four people and has expandable sides for more room. It has wall pockets for added organization.

Remember to always choose a tent that comes with a rain fly. It should also have a tub-shaped bottom that curves up a few inches. Together, the rain fly and the bottom shape help keep you drier in case of rain. Also, you should waterproof the tent a few days before you use it. You will get the most water protection if you use a spray water proofing on the walls and floor, plus a brush-on sealer for the seams. It’s also a good idea to put a tarp down before you set up the tent, especially if the area is already damp.

Kasabian are headlining Benicassim 2010 on Thuesday 15th July. The Midlands band are seasoned pros when it comes to large festivals and will be a main attraction for many of the Benicassim crowd this year. If you are looking for some clothing for Benicassim t-shirts, take a look at this cool Kasabian T-Shirt from Loud Clothing.

Have you got your tickets yet? The place to be on July 15th, 2010, is in Spain, for the 2010 Benicassim Festival. The performances are to be smashing and wild–unforgettable. The 2009 event sold out. The 2010 festival is expected to have the same rush. The concert series will be held in Valencia, Spain. It begins July 15h and runs through July 20th.
Some of the key performers and artists already on the bill are Kasabian–the hottest British rockers known all around the world.

Kasabian is a british rock group that has earned its fame and fan-fare through hard work and extreme talent. They are a British alternative rock band that formed in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire in 1999. The band members include: Tom Meighan–lead vocals, Sergio Pizzorno–guitar and backing vocals, Chris Edwards–bass, and Ian Matthews–drums. The band used to be called Saracuse. The band members all started recording while they were attending school at Counesthorpe Community College. Their first songs were inspired by The Stone Roses. The band’s first public jam was at the Vipers Rugby Club–where Chris was celebrating his 18th birthday. That night was their beginning–they were spotted and admiring fans could not stop talking about their performance. The band soon after changed their name to Kasabian. The name ‘Kasabian’ was named after Linda Kasabian, who was a member of the Charles Manson cult. She was known as his getaway driver. The former band’s guitarist, Chris Karloff, had heard of the name, and it stuck–giving the british rockers their new name.

The band have released three studio albums–Kasabian(2004), Empire(2006), and West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum(2009). While the band was producing its first album, they chose to live in a rural area, in a farmhouse, so they would be away from all distractions and interruptions. “Club Foot” was their first single that gave them fame on the singles charts and is performed at many concert performances. It was the theme song also, in the movies “Guardian” and “Goal!”

Breaking news about Kasabian–just announced May 10, 2010–Kasabian is finishing work on their fourth album. It is being produced in a San Fransisco, CA studio. No other information is yet available, but it is believed to be the band’s best work. Sergio Pizzorno, the guitarist, is also writing the lyrics. It is highly anticipated to be a chart buster. The Benicassim Festival 2010 is an event where Kasabian will wow the crowds.
